TSMC is a renowned dedicated semiconductor foundry and technology company that has enjoyed worldwide prominence since its establishment in 1987. It has come to our attention that there are unauthorize use of TSMC’s proprietary information on GitHub.com (“GitHub”), including but not limited to the following:

Accordingly, TSMC demands that GitHub immediately and permanently discontinue any and all use of the TSMC’s proprietary information, including but not limited to, source code, binary, library, technical guidance, documents, and any other internet related uses. We request written assurance by no later than [ 2024/09/30] that GitHub will undertake the actions requested above.

Nothing contained in this letter, nor any act or omission to act by TSMC is intended or should be deemed to be a waiver, abridgment, alteration, modification or reduction of any rights or remedies which TSMC may have in regard to this matter, and all rights and remedies, whether at law or in equity, are hereby expressly reserved.
