The original work is licensed under AGPL. They are in violation of the license as they have removed all the license & attribution files/text and have re-licensed it under MIT which is an incompatible license.

What would be the best solution for the alleged infringement? Are there specific changes the other person can make other than removal? Can the repository be made private?
They can comply with the terms of the license, otherwise the repository must be removed.
