As [private] for Broadcom Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including CA, Inc., I have authorization to act on behalf of the corporation for intellectual property matters.

Broadcom Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including CA, Inc., own the software product, Symantec Management Agent (or Altiris Agent). A part of this product suite is an executable called SMATool.exe. For example, this executable is discussed here: https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/150837. The executable is not publicly available and should only be available through license of the product suite. This executable was taken and posted on the below URL without authorization. Broadcom also requests audit logging of this repository to determine how many unique clones, pulls, or downloads occurred.
