The original copyright owner is Mazda Motor Corporation (MC), parent company of Mazda North American Operations (MNAO). The original copyright code is published on Apple App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mymazda/id451886367 and Google Play App Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.interrait.mymazda&pli=1 and we been authorized by our colleagues at MC who are the owners of MyMazda app copyright code to reach out to GitHub to request removal of code that we believe is violating MC's copyright ownership. We’ve been directed by MC [private] [private] [private] [private] to work with Github on takedown request.
**Please provide a detailed description of the original copyrighted work that has allegedly been infringed. If possible, include a URL to where it is posted online.**
The original copyright code is published on Apple App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mymazda/id451886367 and Google Play App Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.interrait.mymazda&pli=1. The code enables MNAO customers to use these apps to perform following functionality on their vehicles:
- Register your Mazda vehicle(s) to make online service appointments
- Locate dealers nearby
- Download owner’s manuals and guides
- Access and enter service history information
- Request Mazda Roadside Assistance
- Stay up to date with recalls
- Remote Engine Start / Stop
- Remote Door Lock / Unlock
- Monitor vehicle health
- Receive vehicle status alerts
- Easily find your car remotely
- Search public charging stations, check charging process, and facilitate ChargePoint payment
Mazda has invested tremendous time and resources to develop confidential and proprietary information including computer code used by company. Recently certain Mazda Information, including proprietary API information, was used to create code and information posted to GitHub.com identified in repositories below. MNAO analyzed some of the code and determined that the code provides functionality same as what is currently in Apple App Store and Google Play App Store. We are requesting immediate removal of code from Github.

In reference to Github ticket number 2363235, Github noted that “Please also note that, although your earlier reports did not identify any forked repositories, we thought you may want to know that at least one of the repositories in your takedown notice has been forked.”
