I forked a recently privated repository (while it was public), and made significant changes to the codebase.

The original repository ([private]) was licensed under Apache 2.0. I had full legal rights to modify and distribute this code.
Recently the original repository changed its license, and as such I will not be using the updated code that falls under this license.
